Patrick Bitter, Jr., M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in non-surgical treatments to improve skin health and delay aging and anti-aging medicine. He is the founder of Advanced Aesthetic Dermatology and maintains medical practices in Los Gatos, CA and Beverly Hills, CA. He graduated from the University of California with highest honors in Biology. He received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1986.
Dr. Bitter is regarded as the pioneer in the use of pulsed light technology for skin rejuvenation. He is the developer of the acclaimed FotoFacial procedure using pulsed light to rejuvenate aged skin. He has authored several groundbreaking scientific papers on the use of pulsed light for skin rejuvenation. He is a sought after lecturer and teacher and has taught over four thousand physicians worldwide in the use of pulsed light.

With over 30 years of nursing experience and more than 15 years in aesthetic medicine, Alla is passionate about helping people look and feel their best. Originally trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, she later earned her RN license in California and has called the Bay Area home for over 20 years.
Alla combines her deep medical knowledge with an artistic eye, allowing her to visualize each client's best future face and create the ideal personalized treatment plan. Whether through injectables, laser treatments, facial contouring, or collagen restoration, she carefully selects the best techniques to enhance natural beauty while keeping results subtle and harmonious.
Beyond her work, Alla has a love for travel and exploring the world's art and culture. On weekends, you'll often find her at an art exhibition, catching a new show, or out in nature hiking, biking, or enjoying the beach. She brings this same curiosity and appreciation for beauty into her practice, always staying up to date with the latest advancements in aesthetics.
Alla's approach is warm, thoughtful, and highly individualized. She takes the time to understand each client's unique features and needs, ensuring every treatment is both effective and comfortable. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With four years of experience as a nurse, I bring a strong medical background to my work. Prior to my nursing career, I gained valuable experience as a medical assistant in various medical spa settings. Aesthetics has always been my passion, and I consider myself fortunate to work in a field I truly love.
For the past two years, I have had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Bitter, where I have expanded my knowledge and expertise in identifying the most effective treatments and protocols tailored to the unique needs of our patients.
When meeting a patient for the first time, I prioritize listening to their concerns. I believe it is essential for patients to feel heard, and from there, I can apply my experience and expertise to design an individualized treatment plan that aligns with their goals.

I hold four Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, English, Italian, and Nursing, and I have been a registered nurse for four years. My career began in the hospital setting as a Cardiac nurse, followed by a brief period in fertility care. A year ago, I transitioned into aesthetics and was fortunate to receive one-on-one training from the esteemed Dr. Bitter. Over the past year, I have focused on refining my skills in advanced treatments, techniques, and technologies, striving to achieve natural, beautiful, and impactful results for my patients.
When working with patients, I begin by understanding their specific concerns and goals. Based on my knowledge and expertise, I provide tailored recommendations, collaborating with each patient to develop a treatment plan that they are both comfortable with and excited about. Tina Guel is Dr. Bitter’s Practice Manager, Patient Coordinator, and Licensed Medical Assistant. Tina has 25 years of experience in medical aesthetics working with Dr. Bitter. Her wealth of knowledge spans across all treatments offered at the clinic, and she’s an expert at making patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their treatment choices. Tina has a gift for connecting with people, remembering details about their lives, and ensuring that every patient feels appreciated and respected.
Tina’s true passion is helping patients look and feel their best. After working with Dr. Bitter for 25 years, Tina has become an integral part of the office, offering warmth, professionalism, and energy that patients love. Her experience as Dr. Bitter’s medical assistant has given her a deep understanding of all the treatments, and she’s always ready to recommend the right option for each patient. She truly cares about the well-being of both patients and staff, making sure everyone feels supported.

Leah Seidl is the Skincare Specialist and Patient Coordinator Manager, with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Since beginning her career at age 14 working as a stylist assistant, and receptionist, Leah has honed her expertise through extensive training at The Aveda Institute in Milwaukee, WI, and has completed numerous courses in makeup, skincare, sales, and marketing. She is highly skilled in over 300 skincare brands and possesses an in-depth knowledge of ingredients and their effects on the skin. In addition to her skincare expertise, Leah is a nationally published professional makeup artist, having worked with high-profile clients such as Jean Paul Gaultier Runway, Virgin Galactic, Logitech, Bed Head Tigi, Purina Dog Chow, Mcafee, David's Bridal, and many others. Beauty and aesthetics are her true passions, and she remains committed to providing her clients with personalized care and exceptional results.

Trained extensively at one of America’s top 100 aesthetic clinics featured in Vogue magazine and working alongside celebrities, Christine has developed expertise in advanced injectables, collagen stimulation, and skin rejuvenation techniques designed to enhance - not alter - each patient’s unique features. Christine’s approach to aesthetic medicine is grounded in both science and artistry. Abla is a seasoned Business Development professional with over 12 years of experience in the aesthetics industry. She has a Master’s Degree from SFU. Abla works closely with Dr. Bitter to create educational opportunities. Courses developed to date include online courses, preceptorships, and private training, focusing on Medical Aesthetics & Laser Technology, Sciton BBL Hero & Heroic, Moxi & Halo Combination Laser Treatments for skin types. Abla’s strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the future of aesthetic education, with the duo traveling to 20 countries to promote Sciton’s advanced technology and build global connections. Passionate about helping others feel confident in their skin, Abla loves building relationships with colleagues and clients, both in the office and while traveling for work. Outside of work, Abla enjoys fitness, hiking, biking, and exploring new farm-to-table restaurants with Dr. Bitter.
